Illustration
Many years before I became a graphics and web designer I wanted to become an artist and although at some point I went digital I was able to bring all the skills that I had learned drawing to the computer. No matter what medium is going to be your final output many of the same principals always apply.
I begin every project on paper whether it’s a logo, website or illustration and follow through with a number of different concepts and mockups before coming up with a couple of choice designs so illustration is a technique I use almost daily.
Sometimes photos just don’t cut it and by the time you either hire a photographer or settle for an image your ideas formed during brainstorming sessions can quickly turn into reality. Illustration is very versatile from logos, diagrams and visualizing data to technical drawings and they can all be done in a style that compliments your brand or theme.
